Robotic process automation (RPA) automates repetitive tasks using software robots, offering a significant advantage over traditional automation by operating on existing user interfaces without requiring IT system redesigns. This paper aims to develop a comprehensive RPA maturity model tailored for Swiss service companies, integrating insights from academic literature and expert interviews to support strategic RPA implementation and improvement decisions. The proposed model addresses both human and technical aspects, providing a robust framework for assessing RPA readiness and effectiveness.
