Roman Willi, Senior Research Engineer, IMES Institute for Microelectronics, Embedded Systems and Sensors, Vortrag in Deutsch
More than an open laboratory – insight into the testing of microelectronics
This talk presents practical approaches and technologies for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of microelectronic systems beyond traditional laboratory boundaries. A specific training example is used to illustrate how low-cost test environments and procedures can be used to ensure component functionality.

Franz Haas, Validation engineer, ams International AG, Lecture in English
Robotframework used to realize automation in the validation, production test and infrastructure monitoring use cases
Well-documented and reproducible processes are the key to a successful industrial or scientific endeavor. Robotic process automation, using keyworddriven automation and embedded arguments, allows for well-documented processes. In this talk we will use robotframework (robotframework.org), have a look at the role of the robotframework foundation, and finally we will look at examples in the field of
• Validation measurements
• Production testing/quality control
• Infrastructure monitoring
