Shareholder activism: A Swiss case study

In recent years, shareholder activism has become increasingly prevalent in Europe, including Switzerland. This paper investigates the evolution, strategic actions, and impact of shareholder activism on three Swiss companies from 2015 to 2019, focusing on its effects on shareholder value and corporate management. By addressing gaps in existing research, the study aims to provide transparency and insights to help Swiss companies prepare for potential activist interventions.
