Meteo-dynamic pricing approach
Research and development of a meteo-dynamic pricing approach with an automated weather-based software pricing tool for the outdoor event industry.
For many customers of outdoor events, the weather is a critical variable that strongly influences the benefit of participation. However, this factor has not yet been systematically taken into account in pricing. The project therefore aims to develop and evaluate a meteo-dynamic pricing approach that uses a software pricing tool to vary the offer price according to the weather situation. In this way, the willingness to pay can be optimally exploited and an effective purchase incentive can be created.
