The practical experience within the scope of the consulting projects is unique in this respect, in Switzerland. Within the framework of concrete assignments from the real world, students develop skills for better job market opportunities.
OST students are out in the field for around 20% of their studies. Every year, they work in teams on over 240 consulting projects for companies and organizations, which are organized by the Knowledge Transfer Office, WTT for short.
These consulting projects are a typical win-win situation: the students sharpen their practical skills in the long term and gain respected experience and practical credentials for the job market, while the clients receive comprehensively researched answers to their specific questions. This practical experience within the framework of the practical projects is unique in this respect, in Switzerland.
The best student teams in the consulting projects are honoured annually at the WTT Young Leader Award event.
