The choice between Social Work and Social Pedagogy provides a foundational orientation, but these areas often overlap in practice. A degree in Social Work from our program qualifies you for both fields.

Social Work

Social Work

Social Work focuses on providing counseling to ensure individuals’ essential needs are met. This involves addressing diverse issues such as housing, income, social exclusion, and integration into the community.

Potential fields of work include social services, organizations focused on child and adult protection, counseling centers, and projects in areas such as addiction, family, violence, or migration.

Social Pedagogy

Social Pedagogy

Social Pedagogy focuses on the daily lives of individuals and becomes active when people can no longer manage their everyday lives independently. This can involve protective and educational support, assistance, or the creation of recreational opportunities.

Typical fields of work in social pedagogy include residential groups, institutional care facilities, day centers, and social-pedagogical family support.
