SCCER EIP Work Package 4: Decentralised Wastewater Management

In the Swiss Competence Center of Energy Research (SCCER) on Efficiency in Industrial Processes (EIP), Work Package 4 (WP4) looks at the possibilities for integrating water and energy use in buildings. The IET is investigating the reuse of treated grey or waste water for cooling purposes via evaporative cooling. Together with the project partners eawag, FHNW (decentralised treatment of grey and waste water) and Empa (heat recovery) and the industrial partner Energie Solaire SA, possibilities for the integrated use of energy and water in buildings are being investigated.
