Moflin

Moflin (モフリン) is derived from the Japanese word mofumofu for fluffy/soft. It is a social robot equipped with artificial intelligence by the Japanese manufacturer Masahiko Yamanaka (Vanguard Industries Inc).

The project will test the use of Moflin in institutions for the older people for the first time. Over a period of three to four months, Moflin will be used, observed and analysed in cooperation with activation therapists in three old people's and nursing homes.
