The water flow diagram is open-source tool for visualising urban water systems and accelerating more inclusive and integrated urban water management.nts.

Solarpowered Water Treatment (SoPoWaT)

We combine solar energy with innovative water treatment technologies to enable communities or institutions to purify water on-site. This includes the design of suitable PV systems in conjunction with water treatment methods such as Gravity Driven Membranes (GDM) or solar water disinfection (SoWaDis).

Open-design NoMix toilets

Together with EOOS NEXT, a social entreprise based in Vienna, we co-create appropriate front-end and backend solutions for off-grid (non-sewered) circular sanitation with a focus on low-resource area and urine recovery for fertilizer production.

SaniChoice

SaniChoice is an open source web tool that enables informed sanitation technology and system choices as inputs in strategic planning.

CHub at UMU

In this partnership, teaching content is developed and delivered together with our partner university “United Methodist University of Liberia” (UMU). The created capacity is applied in water and sanitation projects of our local partner NGOs.

NEWAL Network for Water and Life

NEWAL is a network of education and research partners in West Africa (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Liberia, etc.) and ten university partners in Switzerland.
