Water and Wastewater Technology at UMTEC

In the Water and Wastewater Technology group, we develop solutions for rainwater management, the treatment of polluted wastewater, and drinking water purification. Of particular interest are the avoidance and reduction of trace substances, heavy metals, and particulate matter. For this purpose, we investigate processes, develop methods, and balance material flows. We combine experiences from different disciplines and our international network to support innovative ideas through to implementation. We have an excellent laboratory infrastructure and measurement technology for field studies.
