Living Lab 65+ Senioren:innen testen technische Assistenzsysteme in ihrer häuslichen Umgebung

Abstract
Demographic change and the often-expressed concern by senior citizens to remain in their own homes for as long as possible require innovations in the field of technical assistance systems. In order to develop sustainable and accepted products, end users test technical innovations in IKOA-FHS' Living Lab. These Living Lab tests take place in the senior citizen's everyday life and "natural" living environment over several months. This approach enables to identify requirements, analyse barriers and adapt products to actual needs. FHS' Living Lab approach put the participation of the end users - the senior citizens - at the centre. Quantitative, qualitative and participatory methods are used for evaluation.
