Dejan Seatovic - Professor for Measurement Systems and Mechatronics at ILT - Institute for Lab Automation and Mechatronics - OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule is our next anticipated speaker announcement for the 2nd Autonomous Off-Highway Machinery Technology Summit in Munich Germany on February 21-22, 2024.
Dr Dejan will bring his wealth of experience to the summit and discuss ‘Agricultural robots and full autonomy’, in addition to joining our end of Day 2 Panel Discussion.
Dejan Šeatović retrieved his engineering degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2000 and his Dr.-Ing. from Leibnitz University in Hannover in 2013. He was employed by Leica Geosystems AG, 2000-2006, the University of Applied Sciences Zurich (ZHAW), 2006-2016, and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HSK), 2016-2018. Starting in 2018, he works in the Mechanical Engineering Department as a measurement technology and mechatronics professor at OST (former HSR).
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dejan Šeatović has more than fifteen years of experience in applied research projects, ranging from EU FP7 to directly financed projects from industrial partners. He is the head of the intelligent systems group and pursues the development of sensor and AI-based systems to solve real-world problems, such as systems perception and 6 DoF navigation. Currently, he is involved in the environmental project localising and treating weeds in the meadows using high-pressure hot-water streams.
